How to get something from a simple blog

As a start, go ask yourself a question : Do you have a blog ?

You don't have one ?? Oh wow, the answer for the above question is embarrassingly simple : "why don't you make a blog ?" ;)

Correct, the answer for the question is another question. Why on earth you don't have a blog if making a blog is very easy. Yes, blogging is easy, very very cheap (most of the case its free), and the best part : it (can) makes money. Why i said its "almost" free above ? Well, there are so many free blog service like blogspot, wordpress, multiply, hubpages, and many others; they offer a free standard (read : awesome and rich-featured) blog, with their standard naming like this : yourname.blogspot.com. but if you want an extra crispy stuff like www.yourname.com that redirects to your original blog, well there's a fee for it. Best of all, its amazingly cheap. it costs only $10 - $20 per year. Can't beat that on any hosting plan!

Next, after you own a blog, the development, content, and control are absolutely in your hands. That means no one can touch your blog without your permission. Do you want to increase traffic ? increase your promotion. Want to increase the posting ? Just post more frequently. Now if you want to make money, there is one key for it : increase traffic.

The more visitor to your blog, the easier you get ads, the higher the price of the ads in your site. If you want to use a direct-income model, all you have to do is just provide free contents for your blog, and the advertiser will pay for you. Easy isn't it ?

Is there another way ? Yes, you can also use an indirect-income model. Your blog must provide a free content, but you must provide better products or services. Your blog will act like a traffic forwarder or flow control to another site who provide the products or services. This model makes a lot of money bigger than the direct model, as supplying your own products and services will increase the profit margin. You're free to set the price of your products and/or services. Compared to the use of 3rd party advertising company (i.e. adsense), you must share your profit with them, and the advertising price is appointed by them.

That is why it is highly recommended for you to create your own products. Creating your own product is equal to faster way for a higher gain which will lead to a financial freedom. Would you agree ?
